The UK General Election in May 2015 also witnessed a remarkable change in political fortunes for the Labour Party in Scotland and the Scottish Liberal Democrats, with an overwhelming victory for the SNP. This changing national context appears to reflect a greater interest in politics in communities which, in turn, should stimulate motivation to engage in political education. ER -
