questions and dissects the widely held and accepted notion that women are responsible for their own protection. This book is an excellent exploration and articulation of years of seemingly disparate yet interconnected experiences of sexism from around the globe and how they impact our daily lives.

Amy Brown

Secondary Teacher, Scotland

Amy gained her joint honours degree in English Literature and Film and Television
studies at the University of Glasgow before completing a PGDE professional
qualification in English Teaching at Moray House. She has taught in two provinces in
Canada and now works at a secondary school in Scotland teaching English and
Media Studies.
